Jesse left his home, and started on his journey to Veridian City. The Journey wasnt that long, so he decided to jog it, avoiding as much of the long grass as possible.

It wasn't long until Viridian city was in the sights of the Trainer. The buildings in the distance were increasing in size with every step. Soon however the trainers eyes met with a rather unusual sight. He noticed a rather unusual sight a large group of Caterpie seemed to gathering around something.

He walked over casually to inspect what the caterpie were doing.

Upon walking towards the Caterpie a Caw of a Pidgey could be heard causing most of the Caterpie to scuttle away revealing a feinted Raticate; An Easy catch.

Soon the Pidgey realised that it wasn't worth the effort and flew off. The Trainer resumed walking towards the bugs which caused all but one of them too flee. The caught the trainers eye however was that this was no ordinary Caterpie as it sparkled yellow in the Light of the Sun.


Having the the Fire-type Charmander jesse knew it wouldn't be too difficult a task to capture the Bug. He also noted that if he did catch the caterpie it would leave the Raticate unguarded.
